The century's longest lunar eclipse was seen on 16th June 2011 after a gap of 11 years which lasted for about 100 mins. It started around 1 am and was on till 2.30 pm. This was an wonderful sight to see and it amazed sky-gazers from all around the globe. When the sun passed by the horizon, the moon could be seen clearly and its light illuminated the night sky! Here are a few pictures of the night for you to see what we experienced..
